AU History:

Noel came to the world of Star Kingdom three months ago after her word was taken by the Darkness. Things weren’t so bright for her at first. She was all alone in this strange place, and while most of the people were friendly she just seemed all alone without her friends or family. One top of that she had to go face her worse enemy yet school.

She lived on Destiny Island and when to school at the academy. She was barely making it through school, she decided to drop out when she turned 18. Since then she has been working at the Traverse Town police department, as chief by some stroke of luck.

As far as relationships go she has a few people that she cares for. Oz Vessalius gave her on of his pet Eevee’s babies. She named the little boy Koto after her friend, the little creature never seems to leave her side now.

After a body swapping event Noel and a cat girl named Yuiko became friends after having their bodies swapped with one another. The friendship continues to blossom now with homework help and even combat support with the heartless invasion.

By far the most important relationship so far is that of Seto Kaiba. They weren’t on the most friendly of terms at first. He thought she was a videogame character of his own creation, and she just hung around him because he told her too and she would have felt bad if he died because of some ‘virtual’ mistake. The partnership grew after the fact that Seto found out that she could fight. She made a decent body guard until her leg got busted in a heartless battle.

It was then that he found out that his companion wasn’t exactly human. She thought that he would freak out and leave her but it seemed that he did the opposite. He found this fact intriguing, even offering to repair her if she ever needed it.

Around Christmas time they started to hang out more. They went as a couple to a party held by another refugee, and Seto had a party for her birthday. It seemed that she wasn’t quite use to all the attention, and she just remained an awkward wallflower.  It was around this time however that she realized she might like the genius duelist as something more than a friend.  She would never admit this to him though.

Her feelings certainly started to show in February when a heartless invasion struck. She remained in Traverse town while Seto was in Radiant Garden. With some strange new powers she managed to protect Seto’s house as well as several townspeople throughout the first night of attack. She fell victim to distraction and as a consequence was injured severely when a Heartless tried to claw through her chest.

She blacked out after that point. She wasn’t too sure what happened but that last thing she saw was Seto coming out of no-where to save her. She woke in his room, top less, with him bandaging her up. Needless to say, she freaked out. After some calming words Seto was allowed to continue his work, but not before Noel had to bring up that awkward subject; breasts.

The conversation soon lead to Seto telling her that she was fine, that she looked fine and that everything about her was normal. She was use to use verbal abuse that she found this simple comment something of ground breaking news and proceeded to invade his personal space with delight.

Personality: Noel is a very shy and insecure girl. She is not a sociable person; she shops on the internet so she doesn’t have to meet people and she writes poems but never shows them. That isn’t to say that she is not friendly, she is only close to a few select individuals, in which she puts her full trust in them and cares tremendously for them.

She is worries constantly about how others view her. She tries hard not to be in the way of anyone, even if if means not standing up to defend herself. She thought of herself as a bother to her adoptive family, because they were already struggling financially, but still they took her in. When she found out that they were about to lose their nobility she enrolled herself in the Military Academy, knowing well that she could be called off to war at anytime. It seemed that her own safety was not the issues here, as long as her family kept their title and rights.  She wanted so badly to bring her adoptive family’s name honor, that she has unknowingly alienated herself from them, staying at school during the holidays to study, even though she was all alone at this time.

Even after winning a battle she is worrying about her opponent and how she might have gone ‘too far’. She doesn't go out seeking a fight, she is very much a pacifist. Even so, she knows that she is a good fighter, and is more secure with herself when viewed as a NOL officer. After being defeated and brainwashed by Hazama her confidence in both herself and her fighting skills have begun to dwindle.

Knowing that she isn't human made a giant impact on her life at first. It was the entire reason she was able to be taken under Hazama's control so easily. After she was defeated by Ragna, she doesn't mention her condition again. She simply deals with it, not wanted to bring it up because it causes her too much stress and pain. She knows several inhumans, and  she knows that she is still the same Noel. It is only when people, namely Hazama, start to make her question her life, that she begins to wonder if she is anything but a tool.

With the worry of how others view her, there is also the worry of her physical appearance. She is very self conscience about her small chest, and is constantly the butt of the joke when it comes to it. One person has even mistaken her for a boy. This teasing is known to anger her and while she normally has her emotions under control (thanks to Bolverk), she does get frustrated easily. She fears that she isn’t keeping up to standards but she doesn’t really do much to stop this. While at school she was known to study alot, but she was rather famous for falling asleep in class or daydreaming.

Strengths: She is very kind, preferring to speak softly and carry a big stick. Even so people still seem to think that she is a defenseless girl. They are sadly mistaken, when it comes to battle she puts her all into it. She is very merciful, she could never kill her opponent. She always gives them time to back out if she notices that they aren't keeping up with her.

She is very loyal to her friends. She will defend them at no matter the cost, and is always looking for ways to cheer them up or help them in someway. Her friends and family mean everything to her, they are the reason she fights and she gains her strength and inspiration from them.

Weaknesses:  She isn't very confident when it comes to her appearance and how others see her. She is constantly the butt of jokes and deals with great verbal abuse from her former superior. She rarely stands up for herself in these instances. She loses her self confidence rather quickly, only taking a few comments for her to start yelling, get nervous, stutter or become overly emotional.

Thinking is not a strong point for her. She isn't very smart, she had to study constantly in school but even then the information never really stuck. She tends to jump into situations, not really thinking about the outcome of her actions, because of that she tends to make major mistakes.

Cute things are also a weakness to her. She loves anything cute and will go out of her way to touch, pet, or have it. She even went so far as to be a dress up doll for a very drunk Dr. Litchi in order to hold her pet panda.

Abilities: Being an ex assassin and lieutenant for the NOL she is very skilled at combat. She excels in fire arms and close combat. Her guns, Bolverk, are the only means of her defense. The guns can take form of four different weapons: Twin handguns, a machine gun, a crossbow, and a rocket-propelled grenade.
Her weapon is magical by nature, so are the bullets that she fires from them. One shot isn't enough to kill someone, it takes killing intent from the user to do that. If they are taken from her, she is helpless, and her emotions will go uncontrolled.


Finishing attacks.

If she losses control of her emotions she may avert back to her true form, Mu-12. In this form she has the powers of Azure, but she is devoid of all emotion exact for hatred. She seems to only obey one person, whether that person is just Hazama or whoever puts her over the edge is unknown. The first time she transformed, Ragna was able to save her soul and bring Noel back by destroying her helmet with his own Azure, and at the cost of his arm. With her helmet gone she can still transform, but it only takes a blow strong enough to knock her out for her to avert back to normal.

Being the Eye of Azure, she has the power to see recent or powerful memories of a person she touches. This happens mostly at random and she can not control what memories she sees. The fact that she is a cyborg is rather helpful to her, a normal human would turn into a monster if they were exposed to the true Azure. She is a perfect Murakumo unit, and because of the Azure it is hinted that she is now immortal, as long as she possesses the eye.

She is a very confident fighter. Using her guns, Bolverk, she is able to use both melee combat as well as long range fire. She uses a type of fighting style known as 'gun kata', a fighting style that uses the hammers of the guns as melee weapons. Being that she was a student at a elite military academy, she is very skilled in combat. She scored highest in magic and Ars Magus aptitude.

As Mu-12 she has great magical powers because of the Azure. She has the ability to hover and fly through the air and can use the disembodied swords behind her to attack and defend herself. She is also able to conjure up an energy barrier by forming the blades. Mu possesses spatial related powers, preemptively striking opponents by opening wormholes and stabbing her weapons through to the other side and attack them at a distance.

 Bolverk is her strength, as well as her weakness. Without those guns she is defenseless, and emotionally unstable. When she becomes emotionally unstable she averts back to the form of Mu-12. In this form she is stronger, but she gains a intense hatred of the world and the living things in it.

"Wha...?"

Noel glanced around for a moment. One moment she was being chased by some weird human headed bird and the next she was in some office. Sure there were some events in between but really, they weren’t nearly as important as that bird. That bird was creepy.

She took a few steps inside of the house like office. Everything was so…tacky. She guessed that was the right word at least. Everything seemed so cluttered yet at the same time it seemed like everything was well thought out. It was quite strange.

“Uhm….H-hello?” She called out once and waiting for an answer, but there was only silence.

“I-I came to get a job, is th-there anyone here?” She took another few steps towards the desk in the corner when three giant green heads appeared from under the desk. They made strange noises as they stared at her for a moment.

That’s…not something you see everyday.

She took a step back as she stared at the heads. She felt the hair on the back of her neck stand up. This was just creepy.

“Another one I see.” It was an elderly voice, yet held such authority. It surprised her enough to make her jump and straighten up as if she were back doing drills for the NOL. Noel stared at her a moment, opening her mouth to speak but the woman spoke before she did.

“I don’t have time to deal with you. Just sign your contract and get to work.” The old woman waved her hand as a paper came up from her desk, along with a pen, and floated to her.

Noel took the pen and paper, glancing about for a few moments to find somewhere to sign this. She didn’t even bother to read it all, she read the first line or two but she started to get sidetrack as she thought about Seto. She wondered if he was still in Traverse Town, or if he had been swallowed by the darkness. Who knows, maybe he make it back his home. She hoped he did.

“Are you done yet?” The woman called out to her again. She quickly placed her signature at the bottom of the page, just as the paper floated away from her.

“Noel Vermillion, that’s your name?” She looked over to Noel for a moment. The blonde nodded obediently. Her eyes widen as she saw her writing lift from the paper, and bleed into the old woman’s hand. “From now on you answer to Natale, got that?”

Noel nodded once more. “Y-yes ma’am.”

“Good. Now get out.”
